Although Sharapova was carrying an injury it's still very rare for her to lose to an opponent ranked outside the top twenty so it was a very creditable win for Radwanska. I'm not sure about her prospects. She is one of a number of highly promising Eastern European players coming through; others that spring to mind are Azarenka, Paszek and Cibulkova. The coming season will tell us a little bit more about them. Btw, anyone can be a tennis prophet. You wait to see what happens, then boast about your good predictions and conveniently "forget" about your bad ones.
