first off id like to say that ive thought previously that NY designers have been more loyal to models than designers in milan or paris who seem to have a new crop of fresh faces each season. but it seems that even NY has succumbed this season, at least to a certain extent and that many of the 'old guard' are missing there too. maybe they have run their course and that their half dozen seasons or so in the business is par for the course. maybe designeers feel that new models in the clothes invigorates them more than a model whos a bit 'off-hand' with the bis in them and thats why there not there. still i think its sad to see that those models ive taken an interest in just arent around no more. and probably its not just me. those models probably feel the same too, even more so. seems like a models catwalk shelve life is up around her early to mid twenties. about a decade shorter than that other relatively short lived career as a sports man or woman. must be some kind of record
