Charles,
Let's also not Forget the TRUE VICTIM in capital punishment is the ONE who was MURDERED by the person being strapped to the gurney. Too many people with liberal leanings such as yourself are so concerned about showing some kind of a twisted mercy upon the GUILTY one who took the INNOCENT life in the first place. Let your compassions be directed toward those people and their families who must live daily with the injustice of their loss and the fact that it takes an average of about 13 years and millions of dollars to bring that individual to justice - not to mention the fact that there are far more that NEVER get strapped
down in the first place but live the rest of their normal lives at the public's expense.
