Season 3 was just lacking all together and Jesse just brought down the show (perhaps if they didn't feel the need to throw in yet another "famous" character it wouldn't have been quite as bad), but regardless of the depth of Season 3 it think the final episodes did bring everything full circle so I applaud the writers for that. As to my favorite...definitely Season 2.
In regards to each season, I have to agree. Season one was much more ensemble specific utilizing each character for the plot.
