Rarely can a remote control change anything, same too a mouse. Perhaps the monitor. Try switching to a flat screen monitor - they do not flash. Watching games may pose a problem, as the fast anime might trigger a seizure - assuming that you are photo sensitive.
Epilepsy changes with age.
Epilepsy changes during puberty, usually becoming worse. The largest onset of non-trauma non-subtance abuse epilepsy is due to hormonal changes cause by the onset of puberty. If you are a female, this also includes menses.
You may not find what may be the cause of your seizure changes.
You may be having additional seizures because you now have an 'aura'. An aura is a seizure, a complex-partial seizure, and it may lead to other seizures (secondary generalization)
Sometimes, after a period of a few years your medications stop working you "Refract" to your meds. You likley need a neuro to determine if you may need a change of your meds.
BTW, one of biggest factors that is usally ignored is sleep. You body needs a min hours of healthy sleep. See sleep and epilepsy. Healthy sleep includes sufficient REM cycle sleep and not other unhealthy sleep. As you become a teen, you need more sleep than an adult. Life demands, and education often shorten sleep time, as well as healthy sleep. Unhealthy sleep leads to or is a part of sleep disorder. Sleep affects siezures. Sleep triggers seizures. Seizures cause sleep disorders. Anticonvulsants cause sleep disorders.
