Hi Allen-
According to the General Manager at Ron Tonkin Ducati Motocorsa (motocorsa.com) in Portland, OR, all of the Ducatis are CA legal. According to him, Ducati didn't make two separate versions of the 916. I do have pics I can email. However, to get a basic outlook of the bike, check out its listing on Ebay item # 2487592551. The Ebay auction expires in a little less than 24 hours. If you don't have time to check it out before then or need more detailed photos, let me know and I'll send photos directly to you.
