Mary, If you are 20 years old your growth has ended. The doctors really try to deal with curves at the onset of a growth spirt or when you are young and growing. My curve was 65 on top and 32 on the bottom. They fixed the top by rods and fusion but I was 15 years old. I'm not sure what the doctors can do. I would find a real good one and meet with him/her.I don't think height is an issue.. Your height is in your curve. When they straightened me out I grew about 3 inches. But again I was young. If I were you I'd look for a great spine doctor, online, local referrals, or even a large hospital in your area may guide you to one. Good luck!
