I had my surgery in 1976...I am 42 now....I have a degenertive disc in my neck . One dr wanted to remove that and fuse that all the way up as well...i have 4 free vertabre at the end of my spine....I have artheritis in my neck and my lower spine...I also suffer from depression which I was told when u have spinal surgery that that was possible.....I don't know....seems like they all stick together (drs)....little know fact i saw on 20/20...if u had surgery before a certain date and I believe it was in 76 somewhere.....i could be wrong....you could do some researching...i called 20/20...they told me not to give up that i had a case....if they had used pedicle screws..alot involved the manufacuters....i did find out that my harrinton rod was one of the companys that was in trouble at the time....i kept runnin into brick walls...i couu'd get any answers...i got in touch with the fda.....some of this was not approved by them at the time......but i'm sure by now.....the statute of limitattions is over.....which is not fair when u don't know and your a kid......i am in constant pain....and i can't do anything for long periods of time...i think i will try and get that transcript from 2020 again.....i called my dr at the time to get a serial number......all foreign objects theyput into your body has one........they did not have one for me......something to chew on.....i would love to chat with someone about this....so email me anytime.....
