Hello my daughter is 12 years old and was diagnosed with scoliosis 8 months ago. Her initial curves were 42 upper and 21 lower. We tried the brace, but her curve only progressed to 58 upper and 42 lower. She is going to be having surgery on Feb 25, 2005. We live in Germany and we are having this done by the Germans. My daughter is looking forward to it because she does not want to have to wear a brace (besides the fact it hasn't worked for her). I will keep you posted as to the outcome.
