I had the same type of spinal fusion as you had, back in 1950's. I had 2 children. I did not have
any problems until I was in my 50's. I am now a
pulmonary patient with copd. I am on oxygen and
various respirtory machines. It seems that as I aged I have many ongoing problems i.e., osteoporious, and losing height and difficulty in
breathing. I am concerned about my heart.
