Hi Bonnie!
I know how weird it is that i actually went through the surgery! I actually did go as far as your daughter went once! I was in the emergency room one morning because i was sick and had dehydrated. The nurse wanted to give me a shot and i screamed and ran. then my parents had to hold me down while i kicked the nurse a few times. i was only ten then. the good thing about the surgery was i only had to get one shot that i felt. (the anasthesia, the other was when they drew blood from my wrist in the ICU) but i didnt feel a thing. i didnt cry at all! i watched her the whole time too, that was a shock! I actually turned in the research paper i was working on yesterday, but thanks for the offer! my orthapedic surgeon has given me soo much information on it! Good luck to you guys! Chelsea
