Hi Bonnie!
I just had the surgery 2 months ago and i love hearing how you as a parent are dealing with it. I said 'no' to my parents at first but they gave me no choice. I'm glad they made the decision instead of me. I would never have chosen to do it. I think what would have changed my mind though is to research on what can happen later if it goes untreated, especially if the curve is above 40 derees. (mine was 54) I'm writing a research paper for my biology class on the treatments for scoliosis and everything i have found has made me even more glad I wnet through it. I'd be glad to answer any questions you have and i wish you and your daughter the best!!
