hi Haley
my name is Celine, and I am 21 and also have scoliosis. I believe I got it in a trampoline accident when I was 11 ( that is when my back started hurting and the rib hump appeared). I was in a LOT of pain for a long time, until I found a chiropractor willing to treat me. I obviously don't know your situation and I dont want to claim that chiropractic adjustments are going to save your life. BUT I do know, that I saw my chiropractor three times a week for two years, and now only see him once a month. And I have NO pain whatsoever. If I were you, I would look into finding a GOOD chiropractor with the proper tools to treat you. My chiropractor used various tools ( am not sure of their names) that physically pushed some vertebraee back in place with a click, as well as really heavy vibrating tools and muscle contractors (electric) to make my muscles less tense for adjustment. In the beginning it didnt do much, but over time it made a VERY big difference and I no longer experience any pain. I am very sorry that you are in pain, I would not wish that upon anybody.
