I don't think it's really a big deal on which one to have perform the surgery because they both know how to do it. I'm 16 and I had my surgery 4 months ago and I had a Ped. Orthapedic do it but only because thats who my doctor told me to go too. Also considering shes 14 she might just have to go to the Ped. because they really take age into consideration.
