i have an s-curve...10 degrees at the top..18 at the bottom...with rotation to the left... the left side of my body is bigger and more muscular than my right...my right hip is bonier and my right upper leg is quite a bit less muscular than my left...even my face is "less full" on the right side. Btw iI was screened for scoliosis at age 11 and told i did not have it....but that the left side of my body was somewhat more muscular than the right side. Is it possible that the curve formed as a result of the way i used my muscles during puberty and early adulthood? I am 42 now and have been aware of this imbalance for 20 years..no pain (yet) but I just hate the feeling that my left side is so dominant and my right side is bonier and weak...i feel pulled to the left all the time...is this typical? I am going to try yoga and weights but i want to see a specialist first to be sure i do the right things. Any feedback would be welcome.
