I'm not an expert but I think surgery is necessary - sometime in the next 4 yrs. Hopefully, I'm wrong!! This is a severe curve and it has to be treated. Whatever the treatment, time is of the essence! Your daughter has realize the doctors and needles will go way but the curve will be with you forever. I could go on and on... If you would like more information I would be happy to help.
I had my first surgery when I was 13(45°) and it was done incorrectly. 2nd at age 23.My curve is in the thoracic (mid back)area.
