I had surgery when i was 14 (1988) and now i am almost 33, I wish i would have never had it. My back still hurts, my legs and feet swell up ( like shrek), i get bad headaches, i can't stand long or sit long, do i need to go on!!!! I live in florida, and social security doesn't think i am disabled, i can't work, for the pain in my back......if you want to know more, or if you can help, send me and e-mail
