Hello to everyone here that reads. I just found this site and think its great. I am a 28 year old female with scoliosis, i was diagnosed when i was 8 1/2 years old. I live in the United States. I have had 12 spinal fusions since the age of 12 yrs old to correct my scoliosis. I have had 2 children, one is 8 1/2 yrs old, the other is 2 yrs old. Having scoliosis, especially growing up with it and having so many of my surgeries during my teenage years was hard, and even now i still fight with depression. If there is someone that just wants to talk, please email me, and i will be happy to answer any questions that i can about this disease. And to the one that made this site.....i thank you for doing so, it has taken more courage to do so than i know i have, for even now, after 20 years of dealing and living with this, i do not have that kind of courage and still hide my deformity from others a great deal.....rose
