My name is Ryan and I am a 24 year old male who is very interested in assissting the two of you in your sailing adventures. I grew up on the coast of South Carolina most of my life and have spent a great deal of time on the water. I love to surf and have travelled around the world (including Costa Rica) searching out good swell. I am a college graduate that has been travelling for the last couple years and have spent this winter/summer in the mountains of Telluride, CO. However, my love of the ocean keeps drawing me back and I'd like to get on the water this fall/winter. Most of my sailing experience has been on small boats but a few years ago I helped crew a 38' sailboat in the Bahamas for two weeks. I am a certified USCG Captain with a Captain's License that has allowed me to lead dolphin watch trips in South Carolina for the last couple summers. I also enjoy working with kids and have served in a variety of counselor positions. Currently I work for Telluride Academy, a summer camp organization that provides programs for kids ages 5-18. I am interested in almost any outdoor activity you could imagine and am extremely outgoing. While my sailing experience could be greater, I am a fast learner and with the right captain, could most definately fulfill any/all needs on the boat. My schedule is flexible and my enthusiasm high.
