The S.V. Columnbia is a 45 feet Bruce Roberts ruggedly built steel sloop. Only 7 years old she has now achieved 5 circumnavigations with various crew who had never sailed before. Our goal this year is to film and explore islands of the south east pacific. Prospective crew must have a strong insterest in wildlife, history, flora and be fit as hiking, snorkeling and horseriding are our regular activities on the islands. Above all you must be a beginner with a desire to learn how to sail oceanic and be part of a team. You will be trained by an experienced skipper/instructor. Liveaboard, training and touring expenses vary for each leg depending on length and difficulty. Our next voyage leaves ecuador on the 31. July 2003 for Galapgos where we will spent 2 weeks visiting various islands before sailing back to ecuador. Arriving on the 31. August approx. For details please sent a short resume to Sailingclipper@fastmail.fm
Following voyages will leave Ecuador end of September 2003 for Galapagos - Easter Island - Robinson Crusoe - Patagonia. Duration 70 days approx.
