Posted by JamesM on June 26, 2003, 10:15 pm Small boats are a good place to find out if you are compatible but you need to be able to kick the other person out. DONT DO a partnership on the boat. If you want to share expenses then you provide the boat and they provide traveling expenses and food. This makes money simpler and makes it clear who owns the boat in the end.

Partnerships on boats are thorny. Just get a boat you can aford and go.
If you want to get a cheep sail boat there are lots in the SE of US around Fort Lauderdale or the NE in the lakes in the fall.
