Posted by Henry I am 41, male, non - smoker, geologist by trade. Couldn't quite call myself a sailor yet but have spent a few months cruising up the east coast of Australia on a couple of boats and feel pretty comfortable with how most of it works. I am told I don't get sea sick and keep a good watch, I can navigate, plot courses, trim sails etc. I've seen worse in the galley. Body surfing and boogie boards are about as far as I've got but I dive a lot if I get the chance. Difficult to say what I will be doing by the time you wish to leave but could very likely be interested in a crewing position around that time for the long or short haul. I would appreciate hearing more of your plans as they firm up. Regards;
