Posted by Chip Cannan I live aboard my 1993 Alubat Ovni 47, an aluminum hulled, aft cockpit, cutter-rigged sloop. She's currently moored in the middle of the Ashley river in Charleston, SC. I'm slowly moving her north this summer (open ocean, the boat's rig is too tall for the ICW), with a plan to head south in the fall (St. Bart's by New Year's Eve). I'm a pilot for a major US-based air line so my lifestyle and schedule is very flexible. I'm based out of the southeastern US, but I can move to and/or live pretty much anywhere in the world (jet travel is pretty cool). My intention is to set out on a circumnavigation sometime within the next 1-3 years. I'm looking for a single (or divorced)(no kids), college educated, independent, self confident, adventurous, fully participating partner for life. She would like to share and take ownership of a vision to live aboard a sailboat and sail around the world on a multi-year voyage with me. She should be able to handle herself and our relationship during my work absences. She should know how to, and enjoy cooking (I enjoy cooking too).
