Hi Carol, I'm very interested in your post. I'm also a single parent(my is 10), surf and interested in cruising. I'm a 6th grade teacher in LA and although I lack bluewater experience, I'm motivated and teachable. I think we have some common ground. I loook forward to hearing from you. Jim
