John, thanks for the quick reply, I went to bed kicking myself for not asking more questions but you managed to read my mind. For the autopilot how many hours do you need to run the engine for everyday? If so does she carry enough fuel to run for that many hours? (most of my experiance is with windvanes) Could you please mention any of the following she has on her: Solar panels, windgenerator, SSB, VHF, GPS,head, EPIRB, liferaft, emergancy tiller, sufficient drain holes in cockpit, batteries-what kind, drogues, sea anchores, does she have any leaks,I mean where does she leak, soft dodger?,water/fuel tank size-made of what,a manual dilge pump? Some may seem obvious but I learnt the fun and hard way not to go on expectations. Sorry if most of this is mentioned in web-site, I am off to check it now but guess that not all were made identical. Will get back to you as I am sure to have more questions. Where in SD do you live? I was just down at Shelter Island where I picked up my boat a month ago. Where in SD is the boat? Dont mean to exhaust you with the inquizition. Roslin.
