From my years of reading about the Royals, I think that Andrew Parker Bowles and his family were closer friends with the Queen Mother than anyone else. She used to visit his family's estate on occasion. He did have a relationship with Anne, but that broke up because of the religion problem. They have remained friendly because of their shared interest in horses. I don't think he was a particular friend of Charles'.
