Also, the republican movement in Canada is small but very vocal and jingoistic. Their arguments against the monarchy makes a good show but can't hold up to any sort of questioning.
The show pulls in the media and it always get into a tizzy before a visit by Charles or the Queen but it doesn't stop the people from showing their support on the day.
