I totally agree, Martha. Saddest thing is she's modelled this behaviour on her girls; they do seem like little mini-Fergies.

: I think it's part of her deliusion. I feel

: At the risk of being called an armchair
: psychologist, I offer the opinion that she
: engages in "magical thinking". To
: oversimplify, in this case it would manifest
: itself as "If I wear this hip young
: dress designed for a thinner woman I'll look
: younger, hipper and thinner myself",
: "If I live the lifestyle of a wealthy
: woman then wealth will come to me",
: "If I equate myself with my daughters
: who are royal by birth then people will not
: notice that I lost my HRH though scandal and
: divorce and am no longer a member of the
: royal family".
:
: Now, I don't say this in a sneering or
: demeaning way. Fergie clearly has some
: problems that need to be dealt with by
: someone more qualified than an astrologist
: or lifestyle coach/guru. Fergie has gone
: the new-age route in seeking guidance and
: the results have been disastrous. She has a
: lot to offer and her heart seems to be in
: the right place, but the advice she has
: chosen to follow has led her to near
: financial ruin, again. She needs to listen
: to a new roster of advisers (grown-ups, this
: time), because the next time she may not
: have anything of worth to sell and will not
: be able to clear her debt. I do wish her
: well, but her track record tells me another
: train wreck is coming - it's just a matter
: of time.
