I understand what you are saying, and I do think they should do more for charity, etc., but I think that sometimes it just does not get reported when they do. A@nd I know there are people who don't like Harry, but they are usually those who don't like the royals....I agree that his early behaviour was a bit to be desired, and the Nazi uniform was utterly distasteful, but he has redeemed himself with his military career.I don't necessarily think it is a Diana vs Charles thing either...the boys seem very much Windsors and not Spencers.
I don't always agree with everything they all do, I just don't think drinking at a club is such a bad thing. Unfortunately, the world is changing, and this is the world we live in. It isn't the girls who necessarily need to change, it is society in general- the obsession with Celebrity, etc, has gotten out of control Drugs are out of control. Etc.

: You need to widen your circle of
: acquaintances. You might be "actually

: speak for everyone there.

:
: ....he
: is liked...people think he is mischevious,
: but he is young, and he is serving his
: country...as for the Yorks, they are in
: university, I don't think they are
: falling...i don't agree with everything they
: do, and they should be guided...and the
: problem is Sarah is a mess and Andrew is
: naive (but decent.) But they are young and
: they have not done anything so awful. They
: are in university and studying. Zara and
: Peter are a lot older. Different time of
: life. ANd when they were their age they were
: out a lot...you just didn't always read
: about it.

: Maybe the club kids and habitual drinkers
: think he's the bee's knees, but it grates on
: people who work hard just to barely make
: ends meet to see those born to privilege
: behaving like ... well, drunken lords. Most
: of us can only dream of offering our
: children the opportunities the monarch's
: grandchildren take for granted, and our
: children will work infinitely harder to
: maintain a much less luxurious lifestyle.
: If Beatrice and Eugenie want to hit the pub
: after classes during the day and studying at
: night, they can go and have fun and no one
: cares. But they are living like
: celebutantes, and that doesn't generate
: respect considering the tremendous heritage
: they represent. Why doesn't Beatrice
: campaign for dyslexic children? Something
: beyond a once-a-year appearance. If she and
: Eugenie spent a few hours per month
: supporting and calling attention to the
: needs of kids with learning disorders they
: could use their ranks for something more
: meaningful than skipping the queue at a
: popular club. William and Harry have our
: respect for their commitment to their
: military careers, and no one cares if they
: get toasted with their friends. But lets
: not overstate Harry's popularity. Those who
: were great admirers of Diana tend to be the
: ones who fall into the "they can do no
: wrong" camp. As much as I liked Diana,
: Harry has left quite a bit to be desired.
: The Nazi uniform, falling drunk into a
: gutter, taking a swing at a photographer, a
: photo of him groping a friend's breasts,
: etc. I'm rooting for Harry to grow into a
: good man, but let's not gloss the reality
: and pretend he's something he's not.
