In a recent interview, Fergie insisted she wasn't worried about hitting the landmark age and looking forward to the future.
She said: 'I've learned a lot over the years, and the biggest is that life is about three Cs. You speak your mind, which is communication. You compromise, to take the other person's point of view.
'And then you have compassion, meaning you forgive yourself for some of the things you've done, instead of beating yourself up about them. Once you've figured that out, your life will change.'
She added: 'I've got children's books to write. The girls are at university, but I've got my charity work, and I'm planning to gallop across the US to save the mustangs. I'm just beginning my life.'
