Freda Dudley Ward was one of Edward VIII's mistresses.
She had two daughters, the elder of which, named Pamela, was an actress and appeared in Noel Coward's film In Which We Serve (which was based on Earl Mountbatten of Burma's service in HMS Kelly).
Pamela married twice. Her first husband was Anthony Pelissier, an actor, writer and director. They had a daughter named Tracy who later took her stepfather's last name and became an actress.
Tracy Reed married 4 times. Her first husband was Edward Fox, who played Edward VIII in the mini-series Edward and Mrs Simpson.
Edward Fox was married twice. His second and current wife is Joanna David, who played Jeanne, the daughter of Edward VII's mistress Lillie Langtry in the miniseries Lillie.
