a ladies question

Hi all, |
sorry i haven't been on here in a long time. every so often i'd read posts just to catch up. mostly been in touch with you all on fb.
I have a question that i didn't want to show up on facebook. since i didnt want anyone (family or other friends) to know.
its a ladies question.
As you know i have crohns which has been maintained with remicade (every 6 weeks, at double dose), and cipro. I also take vitamins. I also have lupus. so i take plaqunil for that. there's topical lotions for the lupus rashes that i get. i also have heat exhaustion when anything makes me hot, like a hot shower sauna, jacuzzi, exercising, the sun, or even standing in a hot kitchen. doctors haven't figured out where i got the heat exhaustion from. thats a mystery, and so we dont know how to manage it.
but thats not the question..lol. question is, i'm 40 now. doctors are telling me that if i want children to have them now. I would like to have a child, but worry that with all thats going on with me, although things are managed somewhat,i worry that either pregnancy will go bad, or the baby would somehow be affected.
have any of you ladies have difficulties during pregnancy? or any birth defects? since my lupus is hereditary, i worry that i would pass that on...as well as crohns. i dont want to bring a life into the world if he/she would suffer the way i do.
doctors say i should get pregnant this year. all this time i wasn't one to think my timeclock is ticking. i always said, if it happens, i would be happy. if it doesn't, i would be ok with that as well. but now doctors kind of put a pressure on me to think about this a lot more.
thank you for any advice you have....
