Hello all.Just a bit of an update.Have been reading all the posts and its nice to see how everyone is doing. Am ok and still really pleased with the Illeostomy.Have been back at work since last september and other than getting very tired I am enjoying being back with the kids. I have a question for anyone who has an Illeostomy. My stoma keeps disappearing inside its self and goes lower than my base plate causing a leak --a big leak!!So i have to wear a deep convexity plate. These make a bruised pain so i do swop for a shallow one once a week.I have asked my stoma nurse who said there is nothing that can be done.Has any one else had this problem? Would appreciate your opinions. Am off work at the moment as i have caught a bug and am just passsing golden fluid every hour!Gp has given me dioralite (yuk)to take every time i empty empty plus drinking pints of water.Feeling a bit worried as have not experienced this since the op.Doc also gave me loperimid to take if it dosn't stop.Into the 2nd day think will take some today. Well that's it from me. Hope everyone has a good day Love Cheryl XXXX
