where are you all lol ........how about an update from you all :-), ill start the ball rolling, being refered back to lincoln as the professor has given up on me so awaiting new gastro and appointment, as you al know my lfts, thyroid and sugar are all wrong awaiting another blood test, big D not too bad at the moment, the morphine is helping with the scar tissue/pain since the op, under pain clinic still and awaiting another procedure to inject scar to numb area ...... thats me :-) ....... now how about all of you guys ... ugs donna xxx

Only 2314 members to update now! I am okish, just got back from having my Infliximab infusion was a bit a nightmare today as 3 nurses and 1 doc couldnt find a vein good enough to use! Finally a doctor found one very painful though. First nurse blew my best vein, so was supossed to start infusion at 11am and started at 12.30 instead, not the best way to spend valentines day but hey!(3rd year running in hospital). Still seeing 2 consultants one a professor, but still no joy with anything. But in just under 3 months i will be in Florida sunshine and not worrying about anything! Hope everyone else is as well as they possibly can be. Sam x x x

Update- I am pretty much doing ok. I have accepted the fact that my doctor is closing his practice. Right now I have the Flu and an appointment on the 22nd with a new LADY doctor. This could be interesting. I'm working very hard not to have a panic attack since right now I have no doctor. All else is going ok- no other major life flares. Oklahoma Hugs, Love & Prayers. Now we need the other 2313 to check in.

March 12 I get operated on again for my face for cancer, and my nose... My crohns is Ok, sometimes I get attacts, I am on remciade thats all folks.........................

Cool about the increase in members . As an follow-on to my last posts, I'm having my small resection & stricturoplasty on 29th Feb, I need it as I am just eating less and less as it's too painful to have a proper meal . It'll be my 4th op but at least it'll give me a wee respite. I talked to my consultant about doing the Marshall Protocol, he's not sure about it , as you might expect (fair enough), but I really want to do it as I think it'll work for me. He might let me do it in the end, I think, there's not much else to try. I will hold off starting it though until the end of September as I've a busyish summer and it'll be easier to stick to the protocol as the days get shorter. I will also be able to take advantage of feeling relatively well immediately after my op to get on with stuff during the summer before psyching up myself to start the protocol! Yep I'm crazy but I don't have much to lose! Well, that's me for now . Cheers, Sugarsocks (Claire L)

im not doing to bad had my colonoscopy on tuesday with plenty of biopsies have to go back to hospital to see my consultant next friday. theyl probably be putting me on 6 merca something as i have bad reactions to aza.

Hi All, I have just come off predisalone after a short flare things are looking good again no bleeding and trips to toilet back to uaual 4/5 times a day no pain as yet. Last time I had steds was just after I was diagnosed in 2005 and all was well until December just gone so hopefully I will get another few years before it kicks off again (touch wood). Robbie -XX-

Im here, just busy & alot going on, so am all over the place, you guys know me, lol, I do keep track of you all though & think of you all every day. am looking forward to my gynae op on the 10th of march, I know that sounds wierd, but it is only a minor op & will make such a difference to my life xxxx

i'm still doing quite well crohns wise. got to have a colonoscopy sometime this year to see how i'm doing and so that my gastro can predict which was my crohns is going to go before i go to uni. my ESR is still stupidly high despite me feeling okay:-S which he finds concerning. Still on 150mg of azathioprine, but think it does jack all lol!!! felt a bit rough the last week or so as my grandad has died and it has been his funeral hopefully things will get back on track now. just in the process of being interviewed for university. i have applied for oral health science for 3 years and then im hoping to go on to do medicine as a post grad. hard work i know, but its really what i want. hope you are all doing well:D sorry i havent been around. having being well for so long, im just trying to get on with my life as much as possible until my next flare lol! for those of you who arent very well. i hope things improve for you very soon. you know where i am if you fancy a chat:-D all my love jenxxx

hi guys I am one of the bad guys who hasn't posted in ages sorry, I do think of you all often and hope you are well. my cd is behaving very well touch wood!! I have my yearly app at the hospital in march, hopefuly that will go ok we just go back from the gambia yesterday, had a fantastic time can't wait until I can go back, my little african girl, sainabou is doing very well at school bless her my job is great, long days but am enjoying it very much once again I am sorry for not being here much, after working on computer most of the day, I tend not to use ours at home of an evening hugs to you allxx
