hey guys, hope your appointments go well this week, i have another dentist appointment whch sadly is crohns related, my teeth are crumbling fast, due to long term steroid use. had two teeth yanked out on friday and my face is still really sore, no pain med is touching it! so due back this week for another two to be yanked out. and there was me thnking after my op i could put my days of constant pain behind me!! no such luck! good luck to anyone else with appointment, each and everyone of you are in my thoughts and prayers, even if i dont post as much as i should. love and hugs emma xxxxxxxxxx

I've taken to emailing my Consultant rather than going to appointments and I only go if he asks me in for tests. My last blood results were almost normal except for something I can't remember which indicated that it was 'grumbling' and the usual inflammatory markers I also got those results through email. I'm going to see him about surgery because I won't take Methotrexate after Azathioprine nearly bumped me off! Anyways, good luck to everyone else!

Hiyi Donna I have an appointment at the radiology clinic on Thursday morning for an ultrasound for my back / lady bits pain.. After that i will be put forward for an MRI... feeling scared of the outcome... Good luck to everyone else who have appointments. gemz xxxx

Hiyi I noticed you are refusing to try MTX?? You should give it a try hon... you've nothing to loose.. I had a severe reaction to Aza like you did and i was in hospital for almost 4 weeks due to pancreas problems caused by the Aza... I tried Infliximab, whcih didn't work and was then put on MTX 25mg injections for around 10 months.. i responded great fro the first couple of months..brought my flaring a little relief... Unfortunatly my crohns was too severe and had developed arthristis in the end..and got taken off it as it was useless..leading to my whole colon and part of my small bowel being removed... BUT... Claire for instance is on MTX and it has been a wonder drug for...i believe she was at the point of having to have surgery before she tried MTX... Take Care Gemz xx

Hiyi Chick Sorry to hear you are in pain with your teeth!! Theres always something isn't their?? My 2 front teeth are crumbling...mortified!! No pain tho, just looks terrible...lol...only problem with me? I don't have a dentist..am terrified of them..LOL!! Sending you healing huggs Gemz xxx
