Laura's boyfriend --------operation

omg, Matt came home from work this morning (after a night shift), with laura, she had been sat in a&e all night with her boyfriend James, she had been out for a meal with her friend for her birthday & James was on his way to pick them up, when he stopped to let a guy cross the road, he told him to go & the guy told him to go & he was drunk & started mouthing off at james, so james mouthed off back & this man dragged james out of his car & nutted him!!!!
so James (only 17) is in hospital having an op on his head this morning where his head has split, he did get a punch back in & knocked this guys tooth out (GOOD) but broke his hand in the mean time - he then got back in his car & drove to meet Laura, who made his friend take them to hospital where she has been all night.
so we are off to see him when she has had a sleep, but what on earth is this world coming too when a young boy cant even stop to let someone cross the road???
had to laugh though, coz james is only 17, they have put him on the childrens ward, he is not impressed, but I told him to enjoy it as adult wards are no where near as good.
fingers crossed the op goes ok

wow ! sounds awful hun ! i hope james gets beter oon and the op went well! is lau ok ??? i would have been going nuts lol!
i hope everything is ok ! what on earth is going on nowadays ey lol ( how old do i sound !lol!)
but yeah i was out with my bf also called james and we were stood waiting in a que in mcdonalds and this guy randomly came up to us and started gobbing off so we just walked away!
i really think people are just out for the fight now , its rediculous

OMG thats awful, hope James is doing ok! At least he'll get pampered in childrens ward lol!

update on James

well he didn't have his op yesterday, got moved to a plastic surgery ward & finaly had his op this morning, he had 18 stitches in his eyebrow & 3 in his hand, which is badly infected, he is in alot of pain & we are all knackered, but am really proud of him & laura.
like you said lil jen, people are just out looking for it these days & it is not fair, however, we do know how the other guy is & he has a tooth or 2 missing & a broken nose, I wouldn't normaly say this, but flipping good, he asked for it, literally & just because you pick on someone younger than you doesn't always mean you will come out on top.

Oh my gosh....how horrible!! This world is one strange place these days. You never know what's gonna happen!!! So glad to hear that the surgery is over and that things are okay. Please do continue to keep us posted.
