Not a lot of people visit here now sadly, most of the 'old crew' have moved on to facebook, though just every now and then someone might pop in here to say hi and catch up on each other....
I do know that quite a few of our Crohnnies have quite happily and successfully had babies, some whilst in remission, and some whilst still quite ill with flare ups. Not sure about the premise of it being 'dangerous' I guess it may depend on just how your body is coping with the illness.
I shall get in touch with those on facebook and ask if they could come give you their own experiences with pregnancy... I'm 65 years old and have had C.D. since I was 21 with an ileostomy at 24.
I fully empathise with you problems about people being unable to understand just what we as Crohnnies go through.
You take care of yourself hun, and I'm guessing you have a truly remarkable boyfriend by you side there so 'high five' to him too.
Please Remember , this is a place of support and friendship. Please treat everyone with the respect they deserve. There are going to be differing of opinions between members and venting on bad days ........ If you disagree please , don't argue, or attack personally. Thank You
