Hi all .Just thought i would let you all know my news.Having had a good bout of diarrhoea with dehydration for 3 weeks, at risk of being admitted to hospital twice, my GP had no idea what to do for me! He rang the consultant at the hospital who then sorted out meds for me.During one of the many phone calls he had with me ,he told me that i DID Not have CD that the bowels removed showed no sign of it and that it was in fact Ulcerative colitis.
I have had the Illeostomy for 15 months and have never been informed of this. All of my test results from the many colonoscopies have shown both CD and
UC.My GP wrote to my consultant and rang me today with confirmation.
My family and i are very relieved that i no longer have to worry about CD returning.I think a letter saying this maybe should have been sent to me .
What do you think?
Hope everyone is having a good day. Love from a very happy Cheryl xxx
