Suffering and Scared

Hey all, This is my first time reaching out for support since I was diagnosed with Crohn's in 2006.
In the beginning my symptoms seemed to be easily kept under control by prednisone and Immuran, but recently I've had the most severe flare up I've ever had, and nothing seems to be working.
Today was the first day that I couldn't even go to work. I'm in constant pain all day long. During movements its so painful I find myself begging for death.
I've always tried to stay positive, and anyone who knows me would heartily agree. I have a loving family and a wonderful girlfriend but I still feel so alone because no one understands what I'm going through and theres nothing really that anyone can do.
I'm 24 years old and soo ready to get on with my life. But how can I when it feels like it's coming to an end?
Sorry for venting, I'm just really scared and lonely. Any words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated.
