Hi
Have just been to hospital and at last saw my consultant.He was very nice and understanding but said, as i already knew, that i am on all the meds he can give me.To cut a long story short surgery is the only opption and he has arranged for me to see a surgon in November to discuss an ileostomy.Sooo there we have it. Just got to get my head around it now.My children and family are all for it .I have to think about the quality of my life.Cant go back to work yet cos of the depression that having this condition has caused.So no contest really!!Can someone tell me about the op.I have read about it and can remember when Dad had his done but that was in the early 70s and im sure things have changed since then. Thanks
