Hi Erin.
I have a rectat-vaginal fistula, and it sounds exactly like it. Do you pass gas thruogh your vagina involuntarily? There doesn't need to be any odour from what comes through. If it looks like faeces then it probably is. I've had internal examinations by my colorectal surgeon, and even though she couldn't see anything, the fact that faeces and gas pass through my vagina are positive indications. An MRI is good at indicating fistulas too.
I think you should see another doctor, possibly a bowel surgeon if you have one.
