uc flare up and enteric prednisolone

my uc flared up pretty badly just intime for christmas and new year, just my luck. im on enteric coated prednisolone but seems to be taking a while to work does anyone know if id better better off with the uncoated pred, happy christmas and a happy new year all hope everybody feels ok.
