Hi Wendy- Treatments are:
taking ursodiol- (bile acid normally produced by the liver)- antipruritics (for itching)- Cholestyramine (Questran) (to reduce bile acid build up)
- antibiotics (for infection) - and vitamin supplements if you test low in the vitamin areas.

Liver transplant - 'is an option IF the liver begins to fail'

That's all I've found so far. There is hope and there is treatment so keep your faith for better days ahead. Oklahoma Hugs, Love, & Prayers
