Hi all - sorry not been in touch - been busy moving and gone back to work. Although my crohns has come back now after 3 years - Im doing ok. Has anyone heard of this?? SCLEROSING CHOLANGITIS its a rare complication of crohns and I have been told I have it. It affects the bile ducts and in turn the liver and is usually fatal after about 10 years as the liver packs up because of the damage to the bile ducts. I am going for a second opinion to be sure - I was told this problem was down to the removal of my gall bladder when they made a cock up and cut a vein but there saying thats not the case I have this thing PSC for short. Any info would be good. Im in shock at the moment about it Im not 100% sure but the doc who said it seemed very definate. Take care all lots of love Wendy xxx
