I had something similar and my Dr gave me suppositories for hemmorhoids (he never even looked at it). It turned out to be an abcess for me, and the suppositories only made it hurt worse. I finally had a specialist look at it and they drained it and the the pain went away.

I hope whatever your turns out to be, that it gets fixed soon, so you can sit in comfort.
