any advice pls re a lump on bum!

hi...just wondering if anyone has anything similiar...i have crohns since 10 yrs in my colon and am 34 yrs old. i have had a flare since february and have had the usual v hosp n the love/hate pills of steroids. the flare itself is now under control, despite gettin every virus goin at the mo - my main issue now is that i have something that is stickin out my bum! i thought it was piles initially but have been told its a tare in my anus. it is a lump about the size v a big cherry tomato on the outside v my anus - soz best way i can think to describe it lol. this has been slowly increasing in size over about the last 10 wks. each time i defeacate i bleed and i am climbin the walls in pain as i pass anything. i am one v the lucky ones who has never had surgery, despite being threatened. i feel like i am constantly sitting on a pin cushion! my hosp appt which was due friday has been cancelled yet again grr. i suppose what am asking is - has anyone experienced something similiar? my main concern i guess is that the crohns is spreading and am not convinced by my GP's opinion! any comments or info would be most welcome!!! keep well mand xxx
