Hello and welcome friend. I know many times people with GERD cannot sleep on their stomachs as that make it easier for the gastric juices to 'leak' into the esophagus. You need to get back with your doctor and tell him this is happening. I have a friend who had to have the opening into his stomach made smaller due to GERD. The drawback to that is now it is impossible for him to throw up so any stomach aggitation has to work thru the other way. He's miserable sometimes due to that. Like mill said, maybe your doctor can up or change your medications. Try not to panic as anxiety makes stomach acid worse for most people. Good luck.
Oklahoma Hugs, Love, & Prayers. Again, welcome to the board.
