Hi David,
I'd have a word with your stoma nurse.

There are plenty of ostomates who play golf and don't have any problems. But I'd advise caution because it's so soon after surgery.

Ostomates are prone to hernias, unfortunately. But that doesn't mean you have to be a couch potato. The nurse might say it's ok, but suggest wearing a belt to give extra support, for example.
