Hello folks.
As much as I like to think I am aware of research and drug treatments as they are being developed or even talked about, strangely talk of this one has, until now, totally evaded me!
It seems like a completely new approach and I have to say I am wanting to know more now after reading what little I found on it for now.
The general message from any of the info I found is that whilst Drs/scientists agree there is some effect and it looks like a positive result, regarding Crohn's with this drug, more research is required.
This BEGS the question...when? why not? where??
what I mean is, this isn't exactly 'new' and yet nothing is really heard about it? (off the internet at least)
Instead all of the research seems to be going down the same anti-TNF alpha drugs route. (ahem, apart from um, MAP virus 'Crohns Vaccine' of course
)
Anyway I urge you to have a look at these few resources I found and see what you think of it.
Have you heard about this already?
Let me know what you reckon!
I hope you are feeling OK today

Please don't be put off by this next link being on an 'alternative' health site..the science is real..
:: Resources » Low-dose Naltrexone ::..
LDN and Autoimmune Disease
Seems the main man, if you like is a Dr. Bihari so here is a quick google search where you can browse a few interesting results about this d and Crohn's related stuff
Dr bihari & Crohn's google results
I need to find out if this is as interesting as it looks or could it be...just another load of ***!
Let me know if you know any more!
Regards,
Paulgeaf
