Thank you all, MY FRIENDS, for your kind thoughts and prayers for me and mine and Dad. It has been a tough few days, but your messages have helped me tremendously.

As an aside, Mum was not well this morning (racked with arthritis etc etc) and could not get out of bed because of the strain of the last few days. The Doctor was called (and he did come out for a house visit), but told her that she would need 3 or 4 days bed rest to recover - which would mean she would miss the Funeral. We, later, had a visit from Social services today to assess Mums requirements - all went well, really helpful and (taking no prisoners) told her that Doctors occasionally (?) talked out of their posterior (I'm sure you guys have never noticed that!!).

Anyway, the last lady came and trying to help Mum, sat on the side of the bed - which promptly collapsed - much to the lady's chagrin. Both Mum and the lady were unhurt, but I glad that the bed collapsed while three of her sons were there to sort thing out, and it also made Mum get out of bed, and by the time she retired for the night it had perked her up no end!!

Thanks to all those who, like myself usually just read the posts, said a few prayers or spared a few moments for us.
